Salim Kumbhar has been practising terracotta for more than 16 years in Gundiyali. He has learnt this craft from his father Kasam bhai. With his interest in music, he would match the beating of his pots in the rhythms of ghazals and old songs. Knowing the importance of his skills and traditional craft, he has made miniature tools for his son to learn the craft. He has been taking parts in local fairs and exhibitions. Apart from music and pottery, he has been practising farming.
